Description

It was a New Moon night but it was also a Sunday night, so the alarm clock was going to ring at 7 am, so I imaged what I could before 11 pm.
Also the sky wasn't really transparent, or maybe it was the 70% humidity: I switched on the built-in anti-dew heater and noticed that after all it does not shorten very much the battery duration.
The Dumbbell Nebula was really early in the evening (I started a bit after 7 pm) and also a bit out of season but it is always a rewarding target and I wanted to see how the Seestar performed with it.
Unfortunately the Seestar has a rather high overhead in its livestacking and this affects also how many pics one can effectively save per minute (3-4 usually), so while I pointed the scope on M27 for at least 90 minutes, I got less than 60 minutes of light integration.
This is surely an issue ZWO has to address.
